Ōta MASAMITSU (1892 – 1975)
A fireman was a unusual role for Ichimura Uzaemon XV (1874-1945). The tattoos and the cotton towel headband show the low-class status of firemen. In the play Megumi no kenka Tatsugorô was humiliated in a fight with a sumô wrestler.
